A Bit More Info...

Hello everyone! I actually received this info back at the beginning of the month, but I forgot to put it up on the website until now. Here is a quote from Mr. Shepherd:

"Just added info: BGR is involved in many areas of Dar Fur.

Most likely, for “Dollar for a Drink” we’ll be focused on Eastern Jebel Mara of South Darfur –as currently we have work in many locations w/ each well affecting people from 1,000-19,000. The average time per well from start-to-finish is one week, if there is no interruption

Please pray –as the current situation in Gaza has an effect on many parts of the Mslm world; and thus, that our trip will not be hindered –at which time, as Jeff mentioned, we’ll be able to give photos + more info."

Well, the well should be getting in sometime soon, at which time I will be able to get more info out to you all. In the meantime, let us all be praying for the project and building of the well in Sudan. Most importantly, the people in Sudan need the Gospel more than physical…

A Great Big Thank-You...

Now that 2008 is over, and thus the first chapter of the Dollar for a Drink campaign, I wish to take a moment and list all of the major contributors to the Dollar for a Drink project; I wish to thank them all for the effort they put into making this project a success. While I wish I could list everyone who helped, that wouldn't be very easy, for there were so many of you. Unfortunately, I am only human and therefore will probably miss some people, but I thank you anyway. : ) Now, on to the list!

Many thanks go to:

- My Lord and savior Jesus Christ, for giving me a heart that desires to help those in need, and giving me the means to help them. Without you, this whole project would have been for nothing. I give you the glory and the praise!

- My Father, Dr. George H. Guthrie, for your wonderful prayers, support, encouragement, and wisdom throughout the entire course of the DfaD project, from the very beginning to the end. You are the best dad any son could ask for!

- My Mom, Pat…
